There you go fellows, this is indeed a true dinasty which has proven to be the real America's team. With free agency going on, no other team has proven that unity is far more valuable than $$$. This also sets an example to all that unity, just like AMERICA, is the key to success and happiness...and no matter what haters talk about PATRIOTS being cheaters, we all know it is not true. Had that been the case, Patriots would not be undefeated...

They are a great team, and are a true dynasty, but I wouldn't say that they are America's Team. I am sure that they don't have as many fans as the Cowboys and Steelers who have huge national followings. Winning doesn't make a team "America's Team", the number of fans and popularity of the team does.
I hate to keep bringing this up, but the fact that they were caught cheating really hurts them, which is why they are hated so much. You say that "we all know it's not true", that they were caught cheating, but you are wrong. Why did the NFL fine them, and take away a #1 next season? It also doesn't make them popular when they are blowing a team out 35-7, then throw when it's 4th-and 3 at the goal line.

Because the reality of the Patriots being the best team in NFL history is too harsh for them. If it happens (19-0) the haters will still be there and they will still have the same weak arguments that will hold no water. Until next year when everyone will be compared to the 07-08 Patriots and the question will be asked; Will there ever be another as good?

There is no "America's Team." Not the Cowboys, not the Patriots, not any team. None of them represent the entire country (or even a solid majority), thus there isn't a single team that can truly be called America's Team.

It really doesn't matter what the Pats do this year. They are the Barry Bonds of the NFL.. They can say " oh, i was unaware we were cheating" or " we interpreted the "spy gate" rule differently". They can use what EVERY EXCUSE they want, the fact of the matter is this year is already Tarnished. Shula was right about the Pats having the asterisk by their name if/when the win the Superbowl. The only thing that i am hoping for is poor field conditions, poor weather to where the Pats Air Arsenal has to be grounded. do you think they have what it takes then to turn to the run? I don't

they don't hate the Pat`s. here`s the real deal,
They are jealous of the Pats cause they all know that this year the Pats will break the all time undefeated record, right thru to and including the Super Bowl. and the team they rout for will never do it,It will probably 30 years or more before some other team equals what the Pats will do this year. they all seem to bring up the fact that the Pats cheated by trying to read the signals given by the coach, Well I hate to tell you this But they all have done it, The Pats got caught doing it for one game, Others still continue to do it too.

I don't "hate" the Pats, I just don't think people trust them after they cheated.
If they cheated once how do people know they aren't STILL doing it some other way.
It's just like anything. Many people don't trust friends who cheat at games or spouses after they find out they cheated on them. What are they suppose to think when they cannot even trust a football coach & team when they are being paid truck loads of money to play a "GAME" & play it without cheating to win????

I don't accept any team being called "America's Team," unless it's an Olympics team. They are the NEW ENGLAND Patriots. Since I'm not from New England, I will hate them. Deal with it.

Actually, I was watching the NFL channel and majority of the people said the Steelers were Americans team, GB was 2nd,Dallas was 3rd and the Patriots were 4th.
