My fiance and I were discussing baby names the other day. He is absolutely, solidly hooked on the name Styles for a boy (He got it from the movie Teen Wolf!) I told him it's not realistic and the kid will get made fun of!
What would you think of a kid named Styles? How do you picture him?

Honestly I think of the movie that its from, Teen wolf. He will for sure get made fun of when he is older, He would have to be some super cool guy or he would get so much crap if he wasnt. I dont like it, try to come up with something else a little less unique

I would think that he had a unique name...not like everybody else's.
I had quite the argument with my sister over the name "Fox"- I want to name my son that (I'm a big X-Files Fan) but she thinks that would be a horrible thing to do to a kid!

Ask him why he wants to condemn your child to a miserable childhood of getting picked on.
Tell him the one who goes through nine months of pregnancy and being sick is the one who gets to have a bigger say in the name!

i think its a great name. Jus do this,,if you cant picuture your self, Yelling the name down the street then dont go with it..
styles is a great BOLD name ..in my opinion!..
(i like miles a lil better,,ask him about that 1..)

It reminds me of calling a fat kid "Smalls".
In other words, I picture a mismatched kid w/ no sense of style.
