They could very well make a bowl game. The top six Big Ten teams are guaranteed spots in a bowl and an extra guaranteed spot may open up if Ohio State goes to the BCS Bowl (which they probably will). If there is a seventh spot, it will be a toss-up as to who gets it, as Michigan State, Indiana (go Hoosiers!) and Purdue are all tied in both their Big Ten and season records. Also, Northwestern has the same Big Ten record, but a lower season record. It's likely that one or all of these schools will get a wild-card bid for a bowl game, but we'll just have to wait and see.

By the way, contrary to what some of the other answers have implied, bowl eligibility doesn't ensure a bowl game.

Yes. Either the Insight or Motor City; preferably the Insight, as no one affiliated with MSU wants to go to Detroit and George Perles' fleabag bowl.

The Big Ten is guaranteed seven bowl slots, and bowls must take a 7-5 team over a 6-6 team, so Iowa and Northwestern will most likely be on the outside looking in. OSU is guaranteed the Rose Bowl, and could end up in the national title game if things fall their way. Illinois is probably going to the Cap One Bowl (Rose is not required to take another Big 10 team if OSU gets bumped up, and Illinois probably won't be rated high enough to get a BCS at-large). Wisconsin is most likely headed to the Outback, Michigan to the Alamo, and Penn State to the Champs Sports. That leaves the 3 7-5's (MSU, Purdue, and Indiana) fighting for 2 spots, though other conferences probably won't fill all of their slots. MSU travels fairly well, and beat both Purdue and Indiana during the regular season. Even if the Insight passes on them, the Motor City will definitely take them (even if they really don't want to go there).
