You have to hand it to LSU, they have been consistently in games down to the wire, just like today. Does anyone think they are better than the teams that will be ranked above them now?

Awesome game. Doesn't matter if they are better anymore. They lost to an unranked team and at home.

However it still may not be over for LSU, hahaha

It is very likely in this seasons of upsets that Kansas will beat Missouri and then get knocked off by OU in the big 12 champ. West Virginia could lose at Uconn leaving the winner of Georgia VS LSU to go for the national championship vs OSU

In this season of seasons anything can and will happen.

I am a 30 year LSU fan.

Arkansas is the most bipolar team in the SEC. They have been either spectacular or terrible for since Run DMC was a sophomore. For example, how did they lose to Wisconsin last year?

But today they played well. Dick is so much better this year.. The fullback was the hero of the day in my mind, though DMac is obviously terrific. My pick for the Number 1 draft choice.

And Arkansas wanted it more today.

In the end, you don't have to hand it to LSU. While they are spectacularly talented, they once again played down to the level of the competition.

to answer your question. I think that LSU may be the most talented team in the country. But you still have to show up. You still have to give it your all for 60 minutes. I don't think they've done that since the Florida game. we can complain about how quiet the crowd was, but the Tigers just did not execute well enough.

I think they'll do very well in the bowl games, just not play for the NC. That is, they'll do well if they can get up for it.

Well all I can say I am sure that someone will be ranked above them. But I know that no team will have played and beaten more ranked teams this season. Today Arkansas could have beaten at least 20 of the top 25 teams in the country. LSU also faced 2 of the 3 best offensive players in the United States in Tebow and McFadden. I was hoping they could play Oregon and Dixon.

The answer to your question is no and no, it's prove they're overrated and they have 9 lives, they should have more than 2 losses, like the one against Auburn which they escape another lost with the last play of the game. It's seem to me you and the rest of the LSU Tigers fans stop trying to make cases for the Tigers as still one of the best team in the nation. USC have a better case than the Tigers does and they just came out of a dominant performance against the #7 BCS team in the Sun devils.

That was a great game, I think McFadden officially won the Heisman with his performance today, even throwing the ball. LSU, all season, looked like they had magic on their side, living dangerous like that was bound to catch up with them.
Yes, I think they are better than either Kansas or Missouri, but you have to be fair, if Kansas wins, they have to be #1.

No, LSU is lucky they don't have a bunch more losses. They haven't won a game all that impressively since they beat Vtech back in September. I'm just happy that the SEC heads will finally shut up, they're now out of the BCS title picture, and LSU was hardly "unbeatable" or "unstoppable" as they all kept saying.

I honestly think they are better than are given credit for and you can bet that every single LSU fan right now is trying to figure out what the hell just happened!

Yes and no, not much of an answer but look at what happened to Texas, not to take anything away from the Aggie's, but come on. There is allot of parity in division1 college football. Hell division 2 for that matter. That's the beauty of college football. Back to your question no, there not really better, but you have to play them to find out. That's not always going to happen. So let the coaches and the computers have at it, and me and you will most likely agree to disagree. I think that's what I meant, to many whiskey and cokes.

No, they have been lucky all season and Les Miles has got to be the worst coach ever. They would be better off without him. If he goes to Michigan the I'll start liking LSU again.

Well, I'm a Hawg fan, and I ran out into the cold night in my pajamas and barefooted and started dancing in front of all the other apartments around me. My 7-year-old son joined me, I'm proud to say! And yes, LSU can beat ANYBODY, should've beat the Hawgs, they just came out and didn't leave it on the field today.
