ok i post off the wall questions which are 99.9% always jokes....i get 45 answers and out of that about a dozen realize its a joke. i even get emails explaing to me why the moon does not stalk me....do you people really not get its a joke? does that make me or you the bigger idiot ? seriously

I just got an email from a 13 year old girl BEGGING mme to believe that hanna montana and the Cyrus chick were the same person. DUH!!!!! So i think that makes them the bigger idiot, not u baby. This is just perfect and exactly on point. I recently had a conversation with this guy who never misses a chance to turn me onto Christianity. And I discovered the number 1 for myself. I finally got fed up with this Jesus talk and asked him if he know how it all got started. He did not. So, I told him. He started screaming at me how none of it was prove, unlike the Supreme Being whose existence of course had been proven beyond any doubt! I think these religious fundamentalists are devoid of cognitive reasoning.

It doesn't take long to realize that a whole lot of people are so literal they wouldn't recognize humor (let alone irony) if it were a feather on their fanny.
The way I deal with it is to roll my eyes and find the humor in their lack of it, and to appreciate that much more the few who actually "get it."
Keep on doing the off-the-wall, and over time, we-who-love-to-laugh will find you.
BTW, you can stop worrying about the moon. It's after me, now. ;)

I do the same, although I popped in a few serious ones last night.
I put it down to (mostly) the younger element not quite having the same odd sense of humour as me. However, some obvious adults are also guilty, if that's the right term, lol.
P & S is supposed to be a bit of a lark, isn't it?

There are people out there who try to be intellegent, but 90% of them take this site wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too seriously. Simply redirect them to Business & Finance or Education & Reference or even Religion & Spirituality or whatever the hell it's called. Somewhere where you know they would be more comfortable.

Life is serious as a heart attack when I am in the world...here, I am in a fantasy land....Keep posting the jokes, they are hilarious, and prompt my imagination...However, if you ever ask a serious question, I may answer jokingly. Just keep it up, you have a wonderful sense of humor...
