I just took a look at the the link TheOnlyBeldin posted and it does show the procedure for the South picking its representative if there is a three way tie.

However I disagree with his conclusion. Here is the post so we can all follow along.

"Divisional Champion: The (eligible) team with the best
presentative to the Dr Pepper Big 12 Conference Football Championship Game. A team ineligible under NCAA or Big 12 rules for postseason (bowl) competition shall not compete in the Championship Game.

Divisional Tiebreakers: The following procedure will determine the representative from each division in the event of a tie:

1. If two teams are tied, the winner of the game between the two tied teams shall be the representative
2. If three or more teams are tied, steps 1 through 7 will be followed until a determination is made. If only two teams remain tied after any step, the winner of the game between the two tied teams shall be the representative.

1. The records of the three teams will be compared against each other
2. The records of the three teams will be compared within their division
3. The records of the three teams will be compared against the next highest placed teams in their division in order of fi nish (4, 5 and 6)
4. The records of the three teams will be compared against all common conference opponents;
5. The highest ranked team in the fi rst Bowl Championship Series Poll following the completion of Big 12 regular season conference play shall be the representative
6. The team with the best overall winning percentage [excluding exempted games] shall be the representative
7. The representative will be chosen by draw."

First we have to go to topic #2 is OSU should beat OU. A three way tie, making a circle with who beat and lose to who.

(Texas
2-1 The teams share the same record. We have to go to the next.
2-2 Each will have suffered two loses in the South if the premise of this question comes to pass. OU lost to TT and OSU; Texas lose to OU and aTm; OSU lost to Texas and aTm. To the next question.
2-3 Both aTm and TT are 4-4, Baylor 0-8, each of the three teams lost to TT, aTm, and each other. No answer here.
2-4 None of the three teams played the same single opponent in the North of the Division and had different outcomes. Each team lost to one of the three opponents they played. OU lost to Colorado, OSU lost to Kansas, and Texas lost to Kansas State. Next tie breaker clause, please.
2-5 This is where I think it will be deceided in OU's favor. Whomever has the highest BCS ranking after tomarrow. Gets to go. BCS decieding everything once again.

OU vs. Winner of Kansas/Missouri.

However I could be wrong and would simply prefer OU win the damn ball game tomarrow and we dont face this cluster bomb, and have the BCS ranking deceide a freaking thing.
If anyone disagrees with me please show we where I am mistaken.

If OU beats Tech yet loses to OSU, Texas Tech would desire to win the super 12 South. Texas Tech's loss to Oklahoma would desire to have no result on the tiebreaker by utilising actuality the only communities tied would be Texas and Texas Tech; at that element an Oklahoma group with 2 losses would not element into the equation. that is quite elementary, there is two 7-a million communities; Texas and Texas Tech. by utilising actuality the winner of the head to head experience up, Texas Tech would desire to bypass to the super 12 championship activity. in the event that they then have been to lose to Missouri, Texas would desire to bypass to the nationwide Championship activity. If Oklahoma wins out, then there's a three-way tie for the super 12 South, if so, the cycle you factor out would be a element and the group with the optimal BCS score would desire to bypass (probable OU, yet in all possibility Texas. if so, if Missouri gained the super 12 championship activity, there would desire to although be a minimum of yet another huge 12 south group ranked before of USC.

No. They lose the three-way tiebreaker with OU and Texas.

In the case of a three-way tie, Texas goes to the Big XII title game. Each team is 1-1 head-to-head vs. the other two, all teams would be 5-3 in conference and 3-2 vs. the South. The next tiebreaker is record vs. other teams vs. their division in order. Tech is #4 (they finish ahead of A&M as they beat the Aggies). Texas and OSU beat Tech, OU lost to them, so that eliminates OU. Texas beat OSU, so Texas would get the South bid.

Someone needs to tell Eric that OSU refers to Oklahoma State here, not Ohio State.

Oklahoma will still play the winner of Kansas and Missouri in the conference championship game. Texas just lost to A & M. So whoever wins between KU and MU will still go to the national title game if they beat Oklahoma in the conference championship game saturday, b/c whoever wins saturday should be # 1 on sunday. That's because the winner of KU and MU will gain very high BCS percentage points for knocking off a top 5 team. Wow, I may have confused myself, but I'm pretty sure I answered the question lol. Good question

No. With Texas losing today, OU clinched the Big 12 South even if they lose to Ok State.

Ohio State's ahead of Oklahoma in the BCS. Oklahoma losing doesn't help Ohio State. The Buckeyes need Oklahoma to BEAT the winner of Missouri and Kansas. Oklahoma losing actually hurts Ohio State more than if they keep winning.
