Because we are the tigers and we kick ***. We would have won, if the referee hadn't stolen one of our touchdowns. Thanks. I wouldn't say we deserve number 1 at the moment, but KU sure as hell doesn't. They are a joke. Any true college football fan should agree. They haven't played hardly anyone decent! IF they go to the National Championship, what bragging rights does that give the opponent "Oh yeah! We beat KU in the National Championship". Woopty doo.

The problem for LSU is that all these SEC fanboys want to preach how great they are when they are a great team but bad coaching has cost them. Its really amazing they only have two losses. That being said I would much rather be a Bucks fan with one loss to Illinois then LSU with two losses to unranked teams. Besides is the SEC really that great? I am beginning to think they forgot what defense is down there.

Now there is a great chance LSU plays USC in a BCS game an then we will see how weak LSU is.

No excuses, that's the price paid for playing in the SEC. Now OSU fans have nothing to brag about. I see them now coming out of the woodwork. LSU losing twice in the SEC, I will take any day over losing even one time in the Big Ten. I mean that's embarrassing!

because rankings dont come out right after a game. they come out sunday night/monday morning. they will be probably like number 7 or 8 depending on who else loses tomorrow.
