It can be a time when you realise that everyone feels the same. The thing to watch out for is around the early 40's feelings of panic and anxiety, and a questioning of what has been achieved in life.

Life as you know it ends around 40, but a new one begins a couple of years later. It's a question of letting go of old values which are no longer relevant, and allowing new ones in.

That depends on your life, and how you live it. I've been on both sides of 40. I've enjoyed them both, too. If you expect life to stink, you'll probably be right. If you think it's great - you'll probably be right about that, too.

There's only one way to not pass 40, and that's a pretty drastic option to take. Why not enjoy it as you go?

It is true! I am 41 and having more fun now than ever. Plus I am way more confident, I know what I want and how to get it. I also no longer care what anyone thinks. I am not out to try and please everyone all the time.
