But I would get a life jacket, get on the raft, makesure I still have my cellphone. any save as many people as possible.

If you were on a sinking ship getting rid of personal items would not make a bit of difference.

most logicaly, myself, unless it was inevetiable, the only thing really woth attempting to remove would be water, duhhh!
