They had a strong team in all aspects. I think that if the Rockies hadn't demolished the Diamondbacks and had to wait so long they would have had more of a chance.
There was also a bit of a "cheating" aspect. It was announced that Paul Byrd used HGH (I believe, if not HGH it was some other form of steroids) right before the Red Sox came back against the Indians.
George Mitchell (I'm not sure if I spelled that right) is on the Board of Directors, or something to do with the Red Sox, and he probably had something to do with the announcement. Did this rattle the Indians? No one will know..... Just speculation....

Bill Belechik taught them how to steal opposing teams signs,by way of having someone in the stands videotape them then relay them by camera phone to the Dug out.L.O.L.I'm just joking.It was all Talent We had one heck of a team.Look out Next year too.

With the good well-rounded team that they have. The pitching in the WS was spectacular. And their hitting throughout the playoffs and regular season was consistent.

They were the best team from start to finish...they won with a combination of great pitching (including the best bullpen), great defense, and really good offense...it was just a great team...anyone saying it was luck knows nothing about baseball.
