mr. answer called that one...yeah blood has no bacteria. It CAN have viruses. And you cannot rid your body of viruses. They can't be killed, period; your body produces antibodies to fight infection, and you will become immune to the virus, but that only means the next time you get it your body can fight it right away and you won't get sick or as sick. You will always live with it though. Warts are viral, for example, and you can treat the outbreak, but usually people who get warts will get them again in the same place because the virus never went away. Think herpes :( And that's why when you give blood, only viruses are consistently checked for.
And as said earlier, you don't want to rid your body of all bacteria and you can't get rid of bad bacteria until you get sick and get an antibiotic, and you can't prevent yourself from getting a bacterial infection; everyone gets them.
And this idea of cleaning your blood is just silly.

Well it looks like all the other posters got it dead wrong. Your blood is sterile meaning no bacteria, virus, fungus or any pathogen. If you had bacteria in your blood you would be septic and they would be looking for an antibiotic to kill it before it kills you. There are bacteria living in your gut, on your skin, in your throat and elsewhere on you body. But not in your blood period.

Of ALL is impossible. Hard enough to belive but some bacteria actually help you. If you do find a way make sure to put in the words "deisese fighting" bacteria and viruses

Like the others have said; you have to have bacteria in order to live. ie some bacteria helps with clotting of your blood, others in digesting food, some others even kill invading bacteria. Your body is like a small planet, if you kill the bad organisims you'll likely kill some of the good ones too. Some of the anti-microbial cleaners we are using now are actually helping the "bad"germs to be stonger- so it would be best to leave all of your bacteria alone--unless you are sick and then use antibiotics

Takes more than "clean" blood to be healthy. Humans are reservoirs of all kinds of virus, bacteria, fungus, mites, etc. This is normal. Making yourself perfectly clean would also make you more susceptible.

Having bacteria in the blood IS healthy. Your T cells learn to fight off these bacteria, making your immune system stronger. Besides, it's impossible to get rid of.

I hope you are not really seriously worrying about trying to do something like this. It will only make you crazy thinking about it and if you actually try it, probably make you sicker than you ever thought possible.
Let nature alone. Your body is very capable of fending off the bad and living in a symbiotic relationship with the good.

I'm not sure, but I think that cleansing your blood of all bacteria and viruses will make you MORE sick, as there are beneficial bacteria that you need to fight infections and regulate body functions (not sure about beneficial viruses though)

Its impossible. Say after you get ur blood cleaned, once you open your mouth or even breath, bacteria enters the body again.
