The traditional spelling is Michaela; the k's in there are a new way to spell a traditional name. I like the traditional spelling best, followed by Mikayla. Two of the six M's I know have the middle name of Rose. I like Elizabeth, Catherine, Claire, Renee, Rebecca, or Kate with it, too. Most names sound good with it!

I like the original spelling best - Michaela or Mikaela. I don't like any of the ones that end in "kayla" or start with "Ma" or "Mc" (the latter of which looks like a last name), I prefer "Mi" as the beginning. The other ones just look made up.
As for middle names, I like Mikaela Grace, Mikaela Brynn, Mikaela Erin.

I love the name. Spelling I like the best is probably Mikaela. But I like how you spelled it in a close second.

The way you spell "Makayla" is pretty as it is. It's a beatiful and trendy name!

I don't like the name Makayla in any form of the spelling. Never have liked it. BUT I would suggest the standard Makayla. Otherwise, people will butcher it.

I prefer Michaela. IMHO, it's the most classic and sophisticated choice. (I'm not sure if Michala quite makes the sound you're after.)
For a middle name, how about:

I prefer the spelling you have: Makayla. As for the middle name, try several you like along with Makayla and the last name and see which sounds the best. And make sure she doesn't have weird initials like FAT or UGH or MUK for example.
