Avery or Camden. Jayden and McKenna are too trendy. Kelly and Ivy are too hippie...

For a girl, Avery. McKenna was a very trendy name a few years back and now sounds dated. Ivey has some appeal, but I think I'd use Ivy ... and worry about hearing "Poison" tacked on to her name.

For a boy, I love Kelly, but I'm not sure if it still works for a boy. I find Jayden/Braeden/Cayden/Haiden overused ... so I'd go with Camden.

They all honestly sound like girl names ... I wouldn't name your boy any of those names. As far as the girl names, I'd have to vote for Kelly. I haven't heard that in a long time. I have a seven-year-old girl named Jaden. When I first picked that name, barely anyone else had the name ... now it seems everyone does!!! Avery is pretty, but also becoming too popular. I don't think Camden is a pretty name. I think of Ivey as a girl name, but it reminds me of the "Poison Ivy" movies ... slutty girls. I suppose McKenna is alright for a girl, but it's so close to McKenzie which is also quite popular. Good Luck!!! :-)

My son is actually called Jayden so I love that name for a boy and I love Mckenna for a girl. Sorry! I really like both names but for the opposite sex
