Absolutely. There is a term called a voyeur . That is a title for a person that films you clothed or naked without your consent. Many states have laws punishing voyeurs. I live in New York state and we have strict laws against it. Punishments include heavy fines and/or jail time

Generally, family member or not, as long as you are not in an area where you have a "reasonable expectation of privacy" as in your home, they may film you and there ain't much you can do about it.

Of course this presupposes they are not doing intentional "upskirt/downblouse" footage.

In your home is another matter. One would hope that your family members would respect your wishes ... if not, have you tried using some condiments to get your message across? A squirt bottle of mustard might just do the trick. If it does not stop them, it will slow them down while they are cleaning the lens of their camera!

if you tell them to stop and then they dont listen then i would say so but you see ppl filming their 5 year olds playing and they dont have consent from the kid. im just trying to make a point here.

As far to my knowledge it is. If that family member makes a movie or films you, and you say no to that member, then they are violating your legal rights.
