The Iraq 'war' is the most outrageous deception ever perpetrated on the American people...and the world.

We unconstitutionally, illegally, unjustifiably and immorally attacked another sovereign nation that in no way threatened, provoked or attacked the United States.
There were only three really lame reasons why this had to happen:
1. The Bush family had a personal vendetta against Saddam Hussein ever since the days of Desert Storm when George H.W. Bush was criticized, ridiculed and humiliated for 'not finishing the job' and ousting Hussein at that time;
2. Cheney coveted all that easily-accessible OIL swimming underneath Iraq's sands;
3. Our giant U.S. military-industrial complex [which Eisenhower warned us about] needed a new 'war' to boost sagging profits from too many years of peace.

Bush/Cheney lied to Congress, hoodwinked a grief-stricken American public, and conned our valiant soldiers into believing there was honorable purpose for this insane and obscene 'war'. 675,000 Iraqis and 3,900 U.S. soldiers have sacrificed their lives so that a handful of wealthy elitists, oil barons, industrialists and power brokers can become wealthier and more powerful.

Certainly George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Don Rumsfeld and all their war-mongering friends deserve a special oil-soaked, blood-spattered corner of Hell where they can rot eternally, along with:
*535 members of the most arrogant, contemptible, wicked, cowardly, incompetent, corrupt Republican-led Congress in U.S. history that stood by and watched Bush run rip shod over our Constitution
-AND-
*535 members of the most arrogant, contemptible, wicked, cowardly, incompetent, corrupt Democratic-led Congress in U.S. history that promised to end this vile 'war' if elected, and - to date - has done absolutely nothing to honor that promise. MAY GOD DAMN THEM ALL!!!!

The outsourcing of our Military was orchestrated by the Republicans, spearheaded by the Chief Azzhat, Newt Gingrich. As soon as we had a Republican President and the American public all neurotic over 9-11, we took the bait and allowed the former CEO of Halliburton, the company who the war was outsourced to, start a completely unnecessary war in Iraq. How convenient! Yes, it's a sham, we've been fugged over and I TOLD YOU ALL SO, but no one wanted to listen!

I COMPLETELY agree with RKO on all points! Ike warned us of the Industrial Military complex and we IGNORED him! Does everyone know that the Pentagon was NOT meant to be there permanently? It was built only for use during WWII. We are now a country committed to permanent war!

Planned chaos.

Squander economic, military and political resources in order to bankrupt the nation, eliminate the Constitution, and divert attention from the International Corporate Fascist Movement ( ICFM ).

Turn the world against the one nation that has stood in the way of Fascist and Totalitarian domination.

The Constitution until further notice is rendered nostalgia.

Seems you only let your clique answer your inane questions, so you get the answers you want...very isolationistic.
Oh by the way, it's no sham my friend. And now commence with the thumbs down...

We are there now, nothing you can do about it. Let's finish the job and let history take its course. Ending the slaughter of 100,000s of Kurds and Shiites was the right thing to do. If Iraq becomes a beacon of freedom and tolerance in the Middle East it would be one of humankinds greatest accomplishments since that area of the world has been in constant turmoil for centuries.

Absolutely.

Neo-cons have perfected the art of bilking Americans out of their hard earned tax dollars.

Reagan did it with the hoax called Star Wars. $800 billion tax dollars were given away to companies such as Raytheon.

Now we find neo-cons inventing yet another reason to make defense contract companies rich beyond their wildest dreams.

There can't be any other valid reason for this war.
It certainly is making a lot of Republicans even wealthier than they are already. We are letting people scare us into surrendering our basic freedoms, so Bush and his neocon pals can loot and plunder.

No, but both are at a $ loss. A strong hold in the Middle East on America's side will be a good thing; in the long run the rest of the Middle East will see all the good that will come to Iraq because of the US involvement...it will bring Iraq into the present instead of lingering in the past & the barbaric ways of the old culture.

EDIT: Looks like Camperdan has found you out, now go hide under Hillary's dress

That has been my opinion since before 9-11, when it was obvious that the neocons were headed in that direction.
