this is a cool question. I got to meet Rudoplh when I was on my flintstone chewbels. I remember looking the sky with my count chocula and goin wow dude that must be Rudolph. Pulled my underroos back up as I was getting undressed and wondered. Wow there is a Santa

Reindeer are real. They are found in way northern countries like Finland. I believe that in Canada and Alaska they are called caribou. Reindeer are so called because people harness them to sleighs like we harness horses.
Of course, real reindeer don't fly (or do they...?)
I love the Rudolph story,. which was originally commissioned by a department store who wanted a holiday handout with an "Ugly Duckling" theme. Robert May wrote the original Rudolph poem patterned after C.C. Moore's A Visit from Saint Nicholas (aka Twas the Night Before Christmas). Then May and his brother-in-law Johnny Marks wrote the song.

I don't believe in flying reindeer. =]
And yes I love Ruldolf. He is my favorite reindeer. He has a cute little red nose. Aww.

Honey, i don't know where you've been but Reindeer are real, we get them crossing these roads alot this time of year down here.
And Rudolf is a ficticious charactoral name for a story.
