Communication is about Ideas, Connection is about people.
Sometimes we connect without ever saying a word, but we are with each other in the moment. It is a form of communication I guess, but it is more about being close, trusted and inter-reliant. trusting that we will be accepted and not subjected to verbal abuses or ridicule. Enough so, that if something does sound that way, we know to inquire further because we obviously did not understand correctly
I need acceptance from my friends. To be a part of them collectively and a part of each one of them individually. When we recognize and provide for each other this way, we connect. The act relies on trust and love. just like our ethics do. The art of communication is serving ideas to each other for consideration. Whether it is a private or open forum, the idea is to share ideas, without aggression, insult or discourteous overtone. As you can see, it is quite involved, but the fundamentals are simple. Show love, speak love, seek love. Show truth, speak truth, seek truth. And be one with those who do likewise.

Being willing to connect, taking that risk and trusting. This is a must.

I connect and communicate with others, by being myself, a simple Hello or a smile will make anyone be friendly with you, so I usually do that to open a conversation with anyone, I encounter on my way.
