Im thirteen, and I think you should ask youre dentist about getting braces becuase a friend of mine had an issue like yours and got braces onn just four of her teeth and she looks fine, you dont have to get all braces, and i have braces and in the long run its better because you wont be so self-concious when you smile, snd you probably wont have to wear them for very long, if you get them. I say get the braces.Plus its better to get braces while you're young soo that you dont look stupid wearing braces at like 20 years old.

Only 2 of my teeth are slightly crooked. I had braces too, when my teeth were kinda...messed up I guess? Well the dentist thought that all my teeth were perfect, (Friggin retard) so they took them out to early. Now I have to get surgery at around 18~24 when I'm finished growing.
ADVICE: Get braces. But if you do get them the ups are that it's better in the long run, but the downs are you might lock braces or cut someones mouth up; because My mouth has been cut up before lol :(

You can just get braces on for front upper teeth. About 4 would probably be sufficient. And you wouldn't need them for that long, considering that it's only 2 teeth. They really aren't that bad. People don't even notice braces anymore, especially if you get those really small ones.

I'm a freshman and I have braces and mine will be coming off really soon. It'll be totally worth it to get the braces. You'll love the results. Lots of my friends have had braces. If they're on the top, it won't look bad/geeky at all. Just go for it! If you don't you'll regret it. You want your senior pictures to look the best they can. If your teeth are so nice, you won't have to wear them for long at all so just get 'em over with. You'll love your straight teeth.

Well, put it this way, if you wore braces for a couple of months, you would have perfect teeth your whole life, aside to not giving up a few months in your life just so you get to live with crooked teeth! i have to wear braces until the beginning of my freshman year(im in 7th grade.)
but my mom said it's just a good thing to do, you'll be thankful for it in a couple years. if you're so embarrassed about ppl seeing u w/ them, why not ask to get them on the back of ur teeth? =)

Retainers are for after you get braces, so that won't work.
If you do get braces, though, it won't be for long; since you're a freshman, it's highly unlikely you'll still have braces until your senior year.
I'd say go ahead with the braces if you had a choice. Most people have them for two years, but I'm sure yours won't even need that much time!

You should get braces. You won't have to have them on for too long and they don't hurt to bad. It will be a good decision in the long run because once you get older you will want nice straight teeth.

I worked with someone at camp this summer and she a brace that was at the back of her teeth so you couldn't see them.
At the end of the day it is your mouth and you are the one who has to live with it so you have to think about whether you can live with it as it is or do you want to straighten those teeth.

my niece had the same question but you need to get them in the end you will be happy that you did you can always get the clear braces. if your worried that the boys will not like you think again bc i bet you pretty and trust me honey the last thing that they will be looking at while kissing you is your teeth unless you dont brush your teeth then thats another story but i think you should do it. good luck

have you looked into that invisalign thing? its like a clear retainer and you get a new one every couple weeks to make your teeth straighten. Otherwise braces arent that bad, and the quicket you get them the sooner they'll be off. I totally think they're worth having straight teeth!
