I spent 11 years as a SpecOp Soldier , I have seen the cost of war and find it however Horrible ....Needed .
I have noticed all the "ANTI" people want someone else to lay down their life for the freedoms that they enjoy everyday .
Orwell once said " Peaceful people sleep safe in their beds at night because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf "

I was a soldier, I will always be a soldier.
And as a soldier I can promise you that war is the worst thing in existence. There is nothing in your imagination that can match the true horror of warfare.
So I tell you no soldier is pro war, but they understand that there are times when war must come, and thank God that there are always enough Americans to become soldiers and carry the torch of freedom.

I'm not pro war, but the people who know all the facts have much more of a basis to make decisions on. I can sit here all day slagging people off, but I don't know what I would have done in there position.

I am not for a war at all! a war is death and death is not nice. BUT... If it is a choice between war- or having our country destroyed by people who want to annihilate us, I would defiantly choose war!! I would rather go down fighting to the last man then being remembered as a stinking yellow coward!!!!

I am anti-war in the sense that I want peace, however I do support the troops because we can't fall back or we will get trampled on.

Wars are reality. If you're in a war...it's better to win.
I got news for you...most Conservatives/Republicans/Bush supporters are not Pro-War. They are "Pro-Support Our Troops To Win The War". There is a difference.
Anti-war people like to demonize anyone against their stance by throwing emotion into the language.

I am Pro war simply because, it is a war on terrorism. The soldiers are in support of it as well. If they were not in support of it, and not in it because we were being protected, than I would be against it.

After 9/11, I was all for going into Afghanistan and bombing the people. After that was done, I felt we got our revenge.
However, I am against the Iraq war and any possible Iranian war. I know they say we have to go in and stop the Iranians, but since the current administration lies so much, they have lost all credibility, and so I don't really care what new "intelligence" they may acquire to make their next case for war.

I feel strongly about all my convictions and although I am not generally pro war, I support what we are doing in Afghanistan and Iraq 150% along with the military that is performing that mission. It is the right thing to do. It may not be popular, but the right thing generally isn't.
