Nothing is wrong with him, maybe he used to care, but doesn't any more. He's 17, he's thinking of girls or in this day in age, maybe guys, who knows, other things are more important to him. Ask a kid who is a few years younger, you'll get plenty of answers. I have 5 nephews, and 6 nieces all under the age of 12, they would all have an answer to your question.
I don't mean ask any kid, I mean that would be weird, but someone in your family perhaps, or another neighbor that you know well.

To me, that is a good answer. I don't know of very many movies worth two hours of my time. So, I think there is nothing wrong with him, the problem is with the same ole, same ole lousy movies they are putting out.
The tickets are too expensive, the volume is too loud, the ac is too cold and a box of chocolate covered raisins is $5.75?
I am surprised anyone goes to the movies any more.
So, it sounds like your neighbor's son is on the right track, to me anyway....

Hmmm, judging from the question asked I would guess you are a kid too, because there is nothing really wrong with not liking movies. If he would have said he couldn't read then I might think something was wrong.

With all due respect i failed 2 see the relavance in this question, you ask'ed him a question and he gave you an
answer, apprently one you didn't like, and because of it your judging the whole generation of today . . .
Quite frankly i can't say as i blame him, i'm a senior and
you wouldn't beleive the things i don't care for, and there from my generation, lol . . .
Everything's relative as the old saying goes . . .

Or he just thinks it's a pointless question that will lead nowhere and so isn't bothering to answer. I know I used to say 'I don't know/care' to my mother when she asks a pointless question so I didn't hurt her feelings by telling her so.

They have no idea what life is about. They aren't allowed to be disciplined (not beaten). And most of them have an "I don't care" attitude period.

Welp, i dunno if i would consider a 17 yr old a 'kid' since he's one year away from being an adult.
But teens like what they want..It's not all about the lastest movies or newest cd's anymore.
