Until Romo wins 3 superbowls I will have to go with Aikman. Romo is funner to watch though and seems to be even more talented.

Romo is no where near as great as Aikman. He has to start and play a full season, and then try breaking some records, making it to the superbowl and winning one might help also...the guy is having a great season so far! By no means is he ready to be categorized with the Aikman! Even if he won a superbowl, he still would not be in the same "league"!

Mmmm ... I'll take either one! They are both soooooo HOT! Aikman's got the experience and Romo's got the stamina!! Woo hoo!

Oh wait ... that's not what you meant at all is it? ;-p

lol

Oh all right ... I - like many others above - feel that Romo is a real talent, but we can't quite compare him to Aikman just yet. I have no idea why people comment on Aikman's attitude now ... it's about his talent as a quarterback when he played. He will go down in history as one of the best - no denying that. Not quite a Montana, Marino or a Favre, ... but definitely up there in my opinion. A Super Bowl ring does NOT equal greatness ~ Marino is a true testament to that.

As you said Romo is still wet behind the ears, but I do think if he can get his head 100% in gear and make safer plays when he needs to ... he could definitely equal - if not pass - Aikman eventually.

I am not a huge Cowboy fan, but I am rooting for them against the Pac's! =) Wishing your team the best of luck!!

Peace to you ...

Aikman is a product of Jimmy Johnson's team, take away Moose, or Jay Novachek not to mention that offensive line, all that Tony has is a good WR and has everybody hyped up

Troy is a good QB but I think Romo will be better on the long shot

Romo is so positive. However he likes the experience and sometimes I think he just throws the ball and is so confident that even in double coverage he is sure the balls going to be caught. Then it ends up in an interception.

I don't think we can start comparing Tony to Troy yet. Troy was so automatic for so many years and didn't blow the big games. Tony blew the biggest game of his career last year and next thurs the test vs Green Bay will show us what he's made of.

Romo, casue Aikman is to old now! :-)

Actually I think Romo is a better throwing QB right now. Aikman won alot of games with the cowboys, but he had much better talent around him the Romo does right now. Although untill Romo wins a few superbowls Troy will be considered the better QB.

As an announcer, I'll take Troy Aikman!

As a QB? Probably Troy again. He's proved himself in the big games; Romo, not yet.

Definitely Troy. He won 3 Superbowls and is in the Hall of Fame. No comparison with Romo. Tony has to prove himself beyond one season, but he's well on his way to be one of the best.

Aikman because of his experience and steady play,Romo still scares the hell out of his coaches by being unpredictable,he'll learn with time when to take chances and when to just take the sack and wait till the next play

Romo,
Aikman acts like he has a stick up his a*s. He might have SB rings but I really don't like him. Still a great QB though.
