How would you make a website only for teens and how would you be able to keep perverts away? It isn't possible.
I think the general idea was for teens and single people, but teenagers aren't smart enough to use the site responsibly that is why so many bad things have happened, perverts have no trouble fooling impressionable teenagers.

I think it has teens trying to "hook up" on it, and adults actually using it properly. There are a few perverts out there, but if the little girls wouldn't post pictures of them looking like...., I'll just say tramps with no respect for themselves, then they might not get friend request from those perverts. There are other ways for adults to connect, it only matters were your friends are. You shouldn't go on these sites, to meet new people. How about going out and doing some random acts of kindness, you never know who you might meet that way.

MySpace was made by an adult fir adults to keep in touch with friends. Teens herd of it and became number one members. MySpace then made themselfs more "teen friendly". I personaly think this failed because now teens want on and adults want teens. Personal opinion question butit was origionaly ment for adults.

It's made for everyone.
Your forgetting one little thing, this is a company, they don't care about you, who you are, what you think, what you use the site for, they just want you to use it because that makes them money.
Of course they don't want peodophiles using it and part of that reason is because it will lose them money, give the site a bad reputation, etc.
If you think for one second that the people who run myspace, faceparty, msn, etc give 1 tiny seconds thought to anyone who uses it then your fooling yourself.
And besides, all the perverts on myspace don't tell you how old they are, they pretend to be teenagers!!!

I think it's for teens as far as socializing, and for adults as far as marketing. I know some older decent people who you wouldn't guess were even on myspace and they are on there to market their companies or products. For me, well, I don't really like myspace. Too much drama, and oh yeah, the pervs.

Give me a break. There are sites for kids already, MySpace is made for people of all types, not just kids. How old are you? You know there is an age limit here too. Do your parents know what you are doing on the Net?

Actually all ages... Rest assured, there are perverts everywhere... so I wouldn't just say that because there are adults on myspace they are perverts... rest assured I can care less what anyone under 30 is doing!

Its for everyone. However, the teenagers clutter it all up w/ their "have you ever kissed a boy" surveys and spam. if the teens werent there they wouldnt have to worry about pervs, we wouldnt have to see a bunch of 12 year olds (which by the way arent supposed to have accounts until they are 14, by myspace rules) in skanky poses, and all those lame middle school posts. I use it to keep in touch w/ everyone from all the cities i've lived in, to network for jobs, and to meet new people in my area, not to blog about how unfair my mom is because she wont buy me an ipod.
