I really need to get up the following grades by Christmas, because I want to dye my hair, but my mom won't let me until I get the following averages into high 80's or 90's.
Algebra: 73
Music: 67
Earth Science: 83
I've tried staying after for help, but it doesn't do any good.
I just don't understand certain things.
What can I do???

Algebra
- try making flashcards
- practice as many problems as you can
- ask questions to your teacher
- form an algebra study group
- ask your parents or friends for help
Music
- practice, practice, practice!!!
- I play in my band, and I got an A+, this is the stuff i did:
- listen
- pay attention!!
- don't chew gum!
- participate!!!
Science:
- pay attention to the teacher, even if their extremely boring...
- do your homework!!!
- study for exams
- make sure that you understand all the material that is covered!!

Try and study one subject for like 1/2 hour then take a 5 minute break then study the same subject for another 1/2 hour. if that doesn't work try flash cards.

flash cards and study groups . break up study time into half hour intervals with 15 min. breaks in between. ask tutors for help and ask you teacher for help as well. good luck.

Write down things you need to remember on pieces of paper and stick them somewhere, you will look at them a lot without realising it and hopefully it will help you to remember things
