wow...some of you...wow...by "material" I meant, well, "material," "tangible." Just try grabbing a handful of oxygen for me. Not gonna happen.

I'd have to say my cell phone.. i use it as my alarm clock, calender,calculator,to communicate with people. I always have it with me.

actually, i dont think there is any one thing a person couldnt literally live without for a day, though there are many things perhaps we dont want to live without, so im confused if you meant cant or dont want
in the cant category, one needs a stable body temperature, so that might require heating or cooling items, but it wouldnt neccessarily
in the dont want to category- coffee

OXYGEN
Oxygen is not tangible? Hold your breath for 5 minutes and then tell me that the breath that you just inhaled is not tangible and life giving!!!!
