I don't use Scroll Lock. Everything else I use to some extent.
The insert button allows you to type over existing text, as opposed to shifting the existing text further to the right. Press it once, type, something in front of existing text, then press it again to turn it off.

End button:
It brings your cursor to the end of the text on the active line; CTRL+End brings your cursor to the end of all text;
Shift+End highlights text through the end of the active line;
and CTRL+Shift+End selects all of the text from the current point to the end of all text.

Home button:
It brings your cursor to the beginning of the text on the active line. All other modifiers are the same as the End button, but replace the word "end" with the word "beginning".

Print Screen:
Press this button to take a "picture" or "screen capture" of the monitor. Go to any photo editing software, and click 'paste' and you'll be able to see and edit the picture of your computer screen.

Page up:
Scrolls up one page on your screen.

Page down:
Scrolls down one page on your screen.

Pause/Break:
This button is becoming more or less obsolete, but it is used in some programs (usually games) to do exactly what it says.

The F keys:
Each one does something different, which sometimes depends on the program you're using. Some examples:
F1 is usually "help"
F5 will refresh your web browser.
ALT+F4 will close a window.
F11 will allow you to view a window in full screen.

I don't have this "ins" button you have. I'm thinking that stands for insert. I probably have never used many of the F buttons.

edit: I do have the insert button, I guess I can't read for ****.

The "home" button (it's one of those 6 keys in between the main keyboard and the numerical 10-ley section). I'm not sure what it does: does it send me back to Kansas (I don't think we're in Kansas anymore, Toto!).
