My daughter and son mentioned the preview and that it looked good / funny. I'm sure my daughter will enjoy the movie, but I'm not sure about my son. I want to take them to a movie both of them will enjoy. Does anybody have any advice for me?

He already saw the Bee Movie for his friend's birthday party last week, so that's why we're looking for something else. He doesn't typically like princess movies.......that's why I'm asking this question. The previews of movies often look funny / appealing, but then once we're in the theater, we're disappointed. Just because my son liked the preview doesn't mean he'll like the movie. Has anyone taken an 8 or so year old boy to see this, and if so, did they like it / hate it / etc. We don't often go see a movie as a family because it's so expensive..........we're hoping to find something worth the money for everyone in the family. Thanks!

Yes, he will enjoy it, especially the "Pip" character.

If your 8 year old son has expressed an interest in the movie, based on the previews he has seen then by all means take him to see the movie. He has pretty much already answered your question. If he didn't like the previews he would have let you know!

The bee movie is rather funny. Enchanted seems a little too "girly" for a little boy. I have a 7 year old son, and he loved the bee movie.

I saw it yesterday with my daughter (5) and son (2.5). They both liked it, but he's at an age where he is easy to please.

My wife and I both enjoyed it. I think that there are scenes with a chipmunk in it that are amusing regardless of the kids sex and age.

I think you position it as this....We're all going to go see this movie and next time you get to pick one that we will all go see. Everybody takes turns.

I thought it was good...I'd give it a solid B. You will enjoy it.

Well does he like those kind of movies? I know my little boy loves Cinderella and he watches it over and over again, but he's very feminine and most boys don't like the princess movies, but there are some that love them, so it depends on the boy I'd say.
