Ahmadinejad has made several threats against the US, the west and Israel and is fueling the battle for peace in Iraq.
In order to curb continuing threats of violence within the region, he has been given the option of acquiring nuclear power through a co-op of ME nations wherein the plant would be located in a neutral country and he has resisted, insisting he be allowed his own plants despite the heightened tensions.
Why should we have to wait for this man make good on his verbal threats under these circumstances when doing so will only allow him to become better prepared to deal with the consequences of his threats?

There is no justification, and the U.S. does not plan to go to war with Iran -- the generals will not do it, and have said that, despite what 5-D Cheney mouths off about.

To me it would be more justified than attacking Iraq. The main man said after 9\11 that we would go after any terrorists or countries harboring them. What happened to that?

Iran is a proved sponsor of terrorism that is trying as hard as possible to gain nuke power and this isn't to only run electricity and only a complete fool would look at the role they play in the continuous fighting in the Middle East and think they want only piece.
The only piece Ahmadinajad wants for the world is the piece of the grave.

Just use the same justification as used in Iraq. The American people will buy it.
