If you want to know the legal answer call your local police/sheriff dept. Mst cities have a city wide/county wide curfew. It is usually 10:00 pm. that's why on some loca t.v. channels they'll cut in with "It's almost 10 o'clock, do you know where your children are?" As a parent, I would say when it's dark. When my son was 14 it was at dark, no matter what day of the week it was. Now that he's 16, he doesn't drive and gets around on his bike. His friends live within a 5 block radius so I give him 7:30 pm. To tell you the truth, there is no reason why anyone's child hould be out after 8:00 pm. There is nothing for them to do. You have to be 17 to see rated r movies without an adult, so why should they be out and about?

Im 17 now, but when I was 14 my curfew was midnight, anyways freshmen year. I think that is a perfectly suitable curfew for weekends. On weeknights they probably shouldn't just go out unless its for a school function like a basketball game or volleyball game or something of that nature. If you just know where they are, and that they aren't doing stupid things you should be good.

My son has a curfew of 9:00. Or, when dinner is finished. I am freightened of him staying out with his girlfriend. He's on the wild side, and so is his girlfriend. But, that is not too common for 14 year olds. My son is 16, different story. But, whatever you feel, that is great.

well im a 13 [ill be 14 in like a month =-]] and on school nights it 8:30 and weekends its 10:30-11:00 [depending on where i am and who im with] if my mom dosent know the people im with though then its MUCH earlier like weekdays 8:00 and weekends 8:30-9:00

school night - 10pm
weekend - 11pm
depends how safe your area is though?
at 14 i could stay out till 3am on a weekend but i live in Spain so its much safer than places like America or Britain.

school nights till 8:30..weekends a half hour later..being a teen myself..not much good can come out of a teen boy staying out at late hours of the night unless they're mature..

sorry but there is nothing good a young teen can be getting into after dark where i live if your out after dark and under 18 the cops will take you home
