samsung message tone?

I have a samsung U600

everytime I send a message I get a loud confirmation tone along with a notee saying message sent,

How do i Turn that tune off ?

Go to sound settings and then to extra tones and turn off "indicative tones"

I don't think you can, I get it with Sony Ericsson and my partner gets it with Nokia, Unless in message settings you have 'delivery report' maybe try switching that off and see what happens.
