I believe in the Constitution. The second amendment grants the "people" the right to keep and bear arms.....It does not give them the right to use those arms in commission of a crime...Knives are edged weapons that can be considered "arms", in that they offer an equating factor in a confrontation where serious injury or loss of life may ensue...In a confrontation where your life hangs in the balance, you can call 911, and get a police response in 5 to 8 minutes. 9 MM responds in less than three seconds. A knife puts you more at risk, in that it is a close quarter defense, and depends largely on the defenders ability to handle himself in hand to hand combat....But if he/she so chooses, it is their right to carry a knife....Our United States General Statutes are written to prosecute those whom violate the sovereign right that the amendment grants us.....

You consider a kitchen-knife, an arm. Then maybe, a pen too! Because, the world learned from the English that, "A pen is mightier than the sword!" For a cowboy, much to the chagrin of many in the world, even his arms are arms! And his lower limbs (legs) are artillery! And he uses 'em faster than his brains! Roy, Rogers and Trigger!
