I think this Q is meant to show you what the law means.

Work out how many g O are combined for each 3.00g N in NO and in NO2. (Hint: in NO, the answer is16.0 x 3.00/14.0)

You will notice something rather obvious about the numbers. I'm afraid thats all there is to it!
