I'm downgrading to Windows XP. Will it erase all of my security software, games, pictures, etc? Or will it keep it and just be a different Windows?

There is no downgrade. Burn all datas and install new.

I don't believe you can downgrade a program.I may be wrong.But upgrading is all you should be able to do.I tried to load a 98 program on xp and it wouldn't take.Redoing xp never changed anything on mine tho.,

You will loose it if it's on the same harddrive...
I'm going to do the same...
I don't like Vista at all but I have two hard drives so it's not a problem...Joe
