What do you see when you close your eyes? And what about when you open them? How dramatic is the difference? We are entitled to our fantasies. Indeed, we really ought to see them as essential to our well-being. What's the point of a life without dreams? It's true too, that some dreams are best left unfulfilled. They are more enjoyable in the imagination than they would ever be in reality. Yet every so often, we have to get a little of what we want, if only to maintain the tantalising illusion that the rest might just be attainable.

Hi,
I know exactly what your going through. It can be a little scary when you think about it but, it really isn't. People sometimes have dreams about things that are on their mind. And the only thing about starting your period that can be scary is seeing the blood. That's what scared me first. Some tips when you do first start are:
For your first year try pads
Keep old sheets on your bed when it comes around your time.
Keep extra pads or tampons in your purse or locker
There really isn't anything to be scared of and, when you think about things they often come out as dreams. If you don't worry about it and write how your feeling before you go to bed I promise it should help.

You are worrying and stressing about this - DON'T

Stress can stop or prevent periods happening altogether.

Don't worry about it, no matter if it is happening to all your friends, If everyone is talking about it.

Just relax, It will happen when you are ready...

some girls here might tell you are lucky not to have started yet. Not all greet them eagerly

Deja Vu

I have it all the time. Basically you just see stuff that is really weird and not that big of deal, then in a few months or years, it happens and you think "wow, I know I saw that before"

maybe its that ur so worried about starting ur period that ur mind is focusing a lot on only that topic so when it comes down to dreaming thats what is going on in ur mind so that what u dream about. thats what usually happens to me like when im stressed out about something i may dream about it or about people involved in it. if i have a project due then i may dream about the people in my project or maybe even totally different people. idk but dreams are wierd, but i like them. lol.

I would guess that this dream symbolizes fear of being caught off-guard. It also may mean you are anticipating this big change in life. ... maybe you don't feel ready? Or maybe you DO feel ready and you wish it would hurry up and get there. That's my guess!!

maybe it's the fact that you want to "step into woman hood as some people say" so badly that you are actually bringing the dreams on yourself. trust me don't rush it, it's not all that great.
