True!
Guess I'm the first.
I pursued acting while my partner worked FT.
I kept the house up and made sure that dinner was made and laundry was always done for us both.
It worked out well because he was happy to support my career and allow me to not have to focus on bills and jobs.
But it's only human nature for someone who supports to start to lose respect for you.
I think in restrospect, this situation should only be temporary and not long term.
Every woman needs some type of independence and once you lose that, your life is no longer in your hands.
So, that's my two cents...I am working and still acting now.

False. Quite a few of them turned out to be dead beats and I had to take care of THEM by working two jobs while they did nothing! Thus, why I am single. ;p

yes
that's how i expect it, i believe the man should be provider and protector and i was to take care of him and the home. i am also submissive so there really were no control issues, (some jealousy issues though) i think the relationship was wonderful, we both knew our place and took care of our responsibilities and everything worked out great.

True. My husband supports me. He has higher earning potential than I do. Doesn't cause any problems for us. No control issues.
