No, i think it's creative. when your trying to make thing short like the " dn't, u, h8, wen, and ppl", but like for the "liek, and tipe" mines while have spelled it the correct way because it's the same amount of letters unless they really cant spell!!!!

Absolutely. I saw a question today where a person was complaining about something, and noted that they are a straight-A student with excellent grades.
Hard to believe when they can't type, spell, use grammer, and think that numbers are letters.
It can be cute sometimes (i.e. saying goodbye to a friend on messenger and saying l8r sk8r!) but when you are trying to convey a message, it's distracting, and it takes away from the message.
In my opinion, these people should learn to spell, or stop using a written-language based forum for communication.

It never really bothered me before. I'm pretty good that way, that I can understand them. I never wrote like that though, not even in text messages, though I didn't like to use capitals at all. Lately I've been trying to remember the capitals and apostrophes when I'm typing in Messenger, Yahoo Answers, etc. cause I've just started to realize how annoying it is when people type like that. And how most wont take what you're saying seriously.

Yes - and use the spell checker, for Pete's sake!!!!! It is hard enough when people type incomplete questions or when English is "almost" their second language! I hate when people have their capitals key on and off and drop every other word to an abbreviation or a mis-spelling! I want to help - but please! Learn to spell and type!

I sure the hail do! I can understand in text messaging, because you only get so many characters to text with, and you get charged for each text sent and received. But any other case, hail yes!

its just stupid, its not cool at all.

No... I used to teach elementary school and had to decipher that kind of writing all the time. I just figure that people who type like that, turned their brains off after kindergarten.
