Let me shock you with this: I feel sorry for the three guys.

Now that I've got your interest, here's my viewpoint. Greta Van Susteren (FOX News) is one sharp lady. She is a trained lawyer, and very perceptive. She interviewed Joran Van der Sloot one-on-one, and her conclusion, based on carefully observing his mannerisms and speech, is that he was telling the truth.

I don't believe for one minute that she was fooled. She is an expert judge of character, and can perceive little things that someone with an untrained eye would overlook. She really believes he did not kill Natalee.

Here is what I think happened.

Natalee was really wild that night, probably tried some drug she had never used before, and desperately wanted to have sex before she left the island. Even though Joran wasn't interested in her, she persisted. She managed to get him to a secluded beach, but he didn't want sex with her.

She got sullen, and told him to leave so she could cry alone. He left because he had school the next day.

One of the Kalpoe brothers picks him up, and they are driving home, but Joran decides he should make sure she is ok. They drive back and discover she overdosed.

The two freak out and don't know what to do, so they race home and tell Joran's dad. After this, I'm not sure exactly what happened. Somehow, a number of them go back, and take Natalee in a boat to the ocean, and leave her body there.

I think Joran was an unwilling victim of a girl who just had the hots for him, and refused to take no for an answer. Natalee's friends testified that Joran showed no interest in Natalee in the bar.

These guys have been harrassed to an unbelievable extent. They have now been jailed multiple times, even though they don't have any real evidence. I am convinced they are innocent.

Let's see what happens in the next few days. If there is some last minute confession, I'll be shocked.

Since they don't have any substantial physical evidence, they basically need a confession or a break in the suspects alibi. I think the latter is what they now have. Something to do with a conversation between the suspects that contradicts their original statement.

I think that the authorties have also suspected the duo, but never had enough evidence to convict so they had to let them go the first time.

There was never enough evidence to make any type of arrest. Without evidence, you can't make a conviction.
