2. is best , even if there isn't enough hours in the day , tomarow could find you as buisy as your associates are today and instead of having nothing to do you'll be filling that time with the finishing touches, and you'll not be thought of as shirking by your associates who didn't notice you were swamped today .

No.2. Show everyone what you are made of and finish the tasks yourself. Even if means staying late.
It cannot be to much to finish the tasks, otherwise you would not have put No.2. as one option.
Get going and get finished.
