Impossible to diagnose over the internet, but I'd suspect the problems aren't related.

You could have a switch or motor problem for the passenger front. It's possible for the passenger side switch to cause the window to be inoperative from both switches

If you can hear the rear window motor run, but it doesn't move, count on a broken cable in the regulator requiring the regulator be replaced.

I've seen all possible scenarios.

More than likley a bad switch ive seen that problem in most grand prixs under 99 if you know how to work a test light take the switches out and leave it hooked up and test to see if theres power

Could be the fuse if both windows quit and nothing else in the car. Or I suppose it's possible both motors could go out at the same time!

Could be a bad common ground for the circuit or bad wiring...check for power and ground at each door motor or switch and go from there.

go and look at the fuse box and take it in and run a diagnostic on the car and fine OuT that way

CHECK THE DRIVERS SIDE WINDOW CONTROLLER ASSEMBLY.
