All the Russians I have every met were really nice people. Well mannered, polite, and fun loving. I hate that our governments are at odds with one another. I for one do not hate Russians and pray for the day our two countries become allies.

I don't hate any nationality, especially the Russian people, and the Cold War is now over, a real waste of resources and peoples lives while it was in operation, but now, this is a brave new world we are all involved with, and hate for a race of people is not kosher, at least not for this American, although there is a lot of hatred shown towards the muslim races then ever before, and for good reason, they are opposed to the Western Worlds point of view and they often resort to extreme violence to get their points across to us.

I have a Russian friend that I met through Yahoo Q&A and someday, soon, we will meet each other, probably while he is still living in Northern Ireland.

Take all of these answers to your question with a grain of salt, you are a human being and a member of the human race and I do respect you for this.

Thank you

M'Lady,

people anywhere can hate you because of where you live, the color of your skin, the color of your hair, or any other reason you can think of. Your best option is to let the haters hate, nothing will change them. it is fine to dislike some one for whatever reason, but hate is something that crumbles a person from within. take your pride in being russian and hold it high, never let anyone make you do less.

Yes... but some people will use any excuse to hate. The Russian People were never the object of "hate" by American people. The "hate" was reserved for the Soviet Union leaders that were bent on our destruction... one tends to take exception to death threats... Same thing today against the Islamic Jihadist

I don't hate Russians. I do have a problem with Russia doing business and selling arms to countries that support terrorism. Then they support those countries (ie Iran) in the world community.

People can hate you for being Russian or like you for being Russian.

Most Americans will judge you based on you, not your country of origin.

The American people never hated the Russian people and still don't.

The American people had this crazy idea that if the Russian government told the their people the truth that they would not be so fearful of capitalist pigs.

Soviet press. (Pravda) All good news and mostly BS.

American press (NY Times) All bad news and mostly BS.
