The plan is to secretly snatch the Ben Franklin from Buk's hat, however a crafty diversion will be necessary, any ideas?

hmmmm .... this scenario requires precise planning to get Buk totally involved ...
1) Trail of alternating dollops of Maple Oatmeal & Sausages
2) Continue this trail for 363.81 yard.
3) At the end of the trail have the Yamster attached by a 200 pound fishing line.
4) The other end of the line is to be tied to the back bumper of a 1979 AMC Pacer
5) Taunt Buk with the dragged Yamster for at least 5.17 Miles (Buk is old but suprisingly full of %$#()*& for the Yamster)
6) By scientific design Buk is now tired enough for even Barney, The White House Cockerspaniel, to trot up and very slobbery-ish, and pull Mr. Franklin out of that hat band.

based on what Buk says, I think we could bring in 15 furry cats for the hat fleas and a sausage to distract Buk and then one of us can snatch the Ben Franklin and split it evenly among us.

I believe you will have to take the entire hat to unhook that money. What does BUK look like without his hat? Is he really bald? I bet he looks dashing and male. Put some sausages in front of him and as he oogles over those ....grab the hat and run like he ll !!!!! tee hee miss ellie wants to see the buksters head! oooooooooo o-o

Chinese Fire Drill is always a fun way of distracting someone. If you do it in front of cops they can help and restrain your friend so you can get his hat.. :)
