usualy find another person to take your room yourself, then they just take your place on the lease

You don't 'get out' of a lease. You signed a contract with others to rent premises for a specific period of time. Even if you leave the premises, you are still bound to the contract and are expected to honor it.

Your best option is to sublet, if the lease allows for same, and the roommates agree.

Look at your lease and find out what the break-lease clause is, IF there is one.
