My answer is twofold: For sports I wear Adidas. For anything else I prefer Avia, but lately Sketchers.
*Word of advice: Do NOT wear new shoes when on vacation and walking 30 miles in 2 days...

My husband has really big feet he wear a 13 he said out of all the shoes he wears he say the ken griffeys are the most comfortable hope this helps.
