If you look at the questions below this one, there is an "insurgence" of Hillary Bashing, mockery and "nananana-boo-boo-ism" going on in here...

What are some of the BEST questions you've seen as opposed to the crud we're dealing with in the last hour?

I am so tired of the users on here. I try to answer questions to the best of my ability yet the user gives the best answer to someone who agrees with them. Or, I ask a serious question and I get unhelpful replies. I literally answered like 10 questions this whole week because most questions are too biased, bashing, troll liked, and baited.

Yahoo tried but they are their own worse enemy. As I've said so many times before, Q&A is not a format that is well suited to politics. Statements, rants and trolling are rampant and the only attempt to make them appear to be legitimate is the addition of a question mark. Answers are more often off topic than on. The situation is at it's worse when the kiddies are out of school but many adult comments could pass for those made by the adolescents.

Yes and why is that? Because too many otherwise good members refuse to use the reporting flag and follow the logic of trolls and clones that it's somehow a free speech issue for them to disrupt and basically attempt to destroy this site. We are the users and we have the power. Instead of asking Q's about this everyone who agrees with you should open their eyes and use the flag more often.
Everyone who posts here agreed to the community guidelines and the TOS, no one is forced to participate here so it's more than reasonable to expect members to behave within those rules to the best of their ability. All the rest is basically nonsense and giving aid and comfort to the trolls.

This are some great questions

I just answered one on gay marriage vs. civil unions. It was asked in an objective and polite fashion.

I just saw another good one, on whether indigenous Americans ought to have had firm restrictions on immigration. I think that's not a bad way to put the current sometimes-nasty stuff into perspective!

Even good questions, like yours, can draw a lot of junk responses. I notice that some of those preceding me ignored the question entirely.

There's always just ignoring the junk. I skip a lot of stuff either because it's the sort you describe, or because it's already encrusted with answers of that type.

I agree with you, there's too much hate-spewing from both sides. I've seen more Bush-bashing on here in the last week than I have in awhile, and I know, the Republican's aren't much better. I tend to only answer people who are serious.

I was beginning to think I was the only one who noticed this. There are many insightful and, enlightening questions but, sometimes it seems as if the age of the average user here is 14 or that is their I.Q.

It's a lot more fun in here than it is over at the Homes and Garden category...

Well, from my perspective, I was (and still am) getting tired of the Bash Bush questions...you know...the ones that want to know why Cheney eats dead bats before breakfast...why George hates all babies and like to drink the blood ot two year olds...etc.etc. It's really pretty stupid in here most of the time!
