Human breastmilk is a living thing and it will keep at least 10 hours at room temperature unless the room is very warm. It also lasts the same amount of time whether the baby has drank from the bottle already or not due to breastmilks antimicrobial properties.

Formula is generally said to be good for 2 hours at room temperature -however caution should be used if you are using powdered formula because unlike liquid formulas it is not sterile out of the can. Once a baby has started drinking a bottle of formula it must be consumed within 30-60 minutes depending on what guidelines you are looking at.

in the fridge about 2 days and at room temp at 4 hours- it's ok if it's seperated but not spoiled- breastmilk seperates very easily but all you haev to do is swish it around some and it will be fine- you cna tell if it's bad though
