what is a cheap thing i could do to my 1994 firebird 3.4engine that will let me beat a 2000 accord 3.0 v-tech?

Not to sound cruel, but the cheapes thing you can do to your 3.4 is to sell the whole car and buy an Accord with a V-tech. The '94 firebird 3.4 was not designed to be put on steroids and raced, therefore Pontiac and aftermarket makers and suppliers don't recognize the 3.4 as a viable investment for aftermarket parts. If you are clever and have friends that are machinists, you could adapt a Toyota supercharger, put bigger injectors and a Motec management system in the car, but you still have an overweight vehicle. So the next thing is to go on a car diet to see if you can drop the curb weight by 200 pounds. At this point, you would have been far better off by buying a newer Acura or Honda v-tech, which has the HP built into the car, less curb weight, and tons of aftermarket parts to choose from. Sorry.

umm ya that's not going to happen your dealing with a 7 year gap in technology ALLOT has improved from 94 to 2000. you would need a chip mild cam and maybe a cat back and larger throttle body to put some distance between you and the accord. A 94 fire bird will beat an accord from 94 but not one from 2000. Intakes and air filters don't count as engine mods, and those chips that you get off E-bay don't do anything.

the 3.4 have shitty amd restricted heads you need to take the heads off of a 3.1 multiport they boldright on you will gain 45 horse right there then all you need is a cold airintake and a high flow exhaust. take out the throttle and have it polished. and have the intake acid blasted then you will be at about 70-80 horse youll blow that accord out of the water

so ya i have done some stuff with the 3.4s and i have researched alot on them.

if you can fin them there are very few turbo systems out there but there are some designed to give that v6 the edge.


the v6 camaro firebird should have nevr been made and niether should have the (4cylinder mustang <------gay car)
