What qualifications of a drug-addicted radio host cause him to be so highly valued as a source of information?

K.K.

There are only so many hours in a day...if it makes you feel better about yourself, then you caught me! I admit it, Rush has actually never been wrong about anything!

No logic at all. None. Nada. Newt taught Rush that if you repeat something often enough there are always plenty of idiots who will adopt your misinformation as truth.

If you must know.
Because he is funny as hell when he shines the light of truth that has the coward liberals running like frightened roaches.
Without Rush do you think the American public would ever get to hear Al Gore preaching fire and brimstone at the pulpit of some black church? Another fake revealed.
You can't beat the classic Paul Shaffer parody songs.
bill & hillery: We can build a new world; all we need is your mooooooney. Isn't it the truth?
The homeless updates: Hysterical. I ain't got a home by Clarence Frogman Henry.
With Christmas just around the corner I can almost hear the Manheim Steamroller music that I love so much.
Thank you for remembering Rush.
God bless you!

Whatever the qualifications, he can sure drive the left crazy can't he? Do you get your information from the sources you named? Somehow, I doubt it. However, I would have no trouble believing that you and most who posted to your question visit on the web or listen to some of the following: dailykos, moveon, (I'm sure there are plenty more), Chris Matthews, Keith Oberman, Bill Marr, CNN, MSNBC, NBC, ABC, CBS, 99% of Hollywood, etc. What a joke you are!!!!

I never, ever consididered Rush's comments valuable. He's still blaming the American Civil War, assassination of Lincoln, Teapot Dome, assassination of Arch Duke Ferdinand, the Titantic Disaster, Japans attack on Pearl, the Korean war, Chernoble meltdown, shuttle disaster, Viet Nam war all Bill Clinton's fault.

That fat Missouri neocon I just consider Rush Limberger....cause he stinks so bad.

Rush Limbaugh isn't a source of information, he is an entertainer. He says so himself.

I rarely listen to him, and I'm probably the most conservative person you'll meet.

Rush Limbaugh, Hannity, O'Reilly, and the rest are the Goebbels of the far right. Nothing they say can be believed - they are naught but hate mongers and zealots.

The logic is that Rush and his radio show are owned by a conservative telecommunications group. They control him, they dictate what he does and doesn't broadcast. They control the message, they control the messenger, they control the media the message is broadcast on.

No true American, conservative or otherwise uses Rush for anything other then mild amusement. The man is a joke.

It's completely irrational. Limbaugh is the designated source of misinformation for the conservative movement. He is the appointed brain-washer (Cheney's many visits to his program attest to this) and he is succeeding "wonderfully".
