I'm on a league and I bowl every Tuesday. I haven't had any problems with it. If it causes you any pain or discomfort stop immediately. Maybe a call to your OB would put your mind at ease.

Exercise during pregnancy at the level that you were doing before you got pregnant is perfectly fine and even encouraged. If you went bowling frequently before you were pregnant there is no reason that you shouldn't go now. I was bowling in my 8th or 9th month with my first pregnancy and other than having to adjust for my center of gravity shifting there were no problems at all!

The general rule of thumb is to listen to your body. If you are bowling and you start to feel any cramping or you get tired then stop. If you feel good then keep going. Minor bleeding as early along as you had it is actually pretty common and if you didn't have it for more than just a few hours there is no reason to suspect that there is anything else wrong. I had the same thing with my first pregnancy.

ETA: For your second question that is totally normal too. Your muscles are stretching and sneezing or coughing will pull a bit. No worries!

I used to bowl and was in a league. My doctor won't let me bowl because she is afraid of me falling from the oil on the lanes or lack of balance. I realize you are only 9 weeks, but check with your doctor first. Since you had the bleeding, I would definitely call your doctor first. No reason in risking it if you can rent a movie.

I don't think so, it sounds like you need to work up to this by some light walking and some light stomach exercises, find out what is recommended, I too have cramping in my lower abdomen, and it is because the muscles may be weak and seperating and I heard it is a long road back, when those muscles get damaged, I am expecting a difficult pregnancy because of my weak stomach muscles and if your stomach muacles are week then your back suffers as well. good luck and take it easy.

Ask your doc, but I bowled several times with my first baby.

I had a low risk pregnancy with no complications. I just used a little bit lighter ball.
