What would planets be like in a first generation system?

Like the other guy said. They would most likely be made of of lighter particles (Hydrogen and Helium). The heavier materials such as iron come from Super Novas. If it was first generation those elements would not be vastly present.

Hi. There would be not rocky material or metals (in the astronomy sense). Most would look like gaseous balls of hydrogen.
