If you just want to spend the money to have a small hole eaten into the clog and the product run down to the sewer, any caustic drain cleaner will work. If you want to get rid of the clod, all of it, use an enzyme drain cleaner such as Draincare by Zep. Enzyme cleaners cling to and eat the whole clog. Available at hardwares and Home Centers (HD, Lowes).

No such thing! It depends on what has it clogged. Grease, soap and hair can be flushed with boiling water. Hair, paper can be dissolved with bleach. If it is a bath tub, run water in the tub and use the toilet plunger (you don't tell and i won't tell). Push down slowly and jerk up violently.
