550=200+7x
she needs to work at least 50 hours (thats without taxes...)

550 < or = 200 + 7n

Not too sure how else to explain this other than to read the situation. 550 is the minimal amount required per month. We know that 200 comes in from teh scholarship and she gets $7 per hour.

550 - 200 = n(7.00)
350 = 7n
350/7 = n
n = 50
